What is i-Lipo?

i-Lipo is the intelligent, non-surgical alternative to liposuction. It is the first direct skin contact laser device designed for fat reduction and body contouring to receive FDA acceptance for circumference reduction. i-Lipo is a non-invasive body shaping laser treatment that shrinks fat cells beneath the skin. How does i-Lipo work?

The i-Lipo Ultra laser incorporates vacuum massage and infra-red skin tightening to target the most stubborn fatty deposits.   • 1.What is the purpose of i-Lipo?

    i-Lipo laser treatments shrink fat by triggering a chemical signal in fat cells to break down stored triglycerides and release them through the cell membrane. When the fat is released, it moves to tissues that will use it during metabolism to create energy.

  • 2.What are the side effects?

    There are really no known side effects. For very dark skin types occasional there can be transient pigmentation spots, but this is rare.

  • 3.What does the treatment feel like?

    The i-Lipo laser treatment is completely painless. The only thing you will feel is warmth on the area and then looser clothing!

  • 4.Is i-Lipo safe?

    i-Lipo laser is completely safe. It uses wavelengths in the safe end of the light spectrum and initiates a natural release of fat from the cells.

  • 5.Can I treat more than one area at a time?

    It is recommended to treat only one area at a time as the body can only deal with a limited amount of fat removal at one time. However, after you shrink one body part you can come back to work on another! Or treat the same area a second time at a discounted price!

  • 11.Do I need to do anything special before my appointment?

    Staying hydrated for a few days before treatment will allow the iLipo to work even better. We also strongly urge you to eat light meals 2 hours before / after treatment. The less fat you consume during treatment, the more stored fat you can burn off!

  • 12.What is the difference between i-Lipo and the Ultra?

    The iLipo treatments work to shrink fat cells while the Ultra stimulates blood circulation and promotes skin cell renewal to improve the appearance of cellulite.
