The SleepView is an FDA-approved device designed for diagnosing Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in the comfort of a patient's home. For those more technology-challenged, this is the perfect home sleep test device!
Simple Design & Ease of Use
The device is designed for simple setup and use at home with only three parts: chest belt, finger probe, and nasal cannula. The device DOES NOT require smartphone technology. It dopes require return shipping to the provider, but a prepaid label will be provided.
Comprehensive Data Collection
This device provides information on sleep versus wakefulness and it records various physiological data points, including:
- Heart rate
- Blood oxygen level
- Respiratory airflow
- Respiratory effort belt
- Snoring
- Body position
- Integrated actigraphy
- Auxiliary port for additional sensors
The device also checks for proper sensor connection and uses sensor lights to indicate successful data recording.
Body Position Detection
The built-in sensor allows for the patient' sleeping position to be detected throughout the night. This helps clinicians identify correlations between breathing disorder and body position to make more appropriate treatment recommendations.
